Short version in English:

"Signa Holding is under pressure: declining sales in the shops, higher costs for construction and high interest rates make it necessary to change some things. In June, Signa Holding had once again promised financial support to the ailing e-commerce subsidiary Signa Sport UNit. With 150 million euros, both the operational business and necessary investments of the group should be secured until 2025. Previously, SSU had reported that sales in the second quarter had fallen by almost 24% to 195 million euros and the operating loss had increased to 59 million euros. At the same time, it was announced that the retailer Sport Check would also be sold to a competitor. Now Sports Direct parent Frasers wants to take over the omnichannel retailer. The takeover should enable Frasers to expand its presence in Germany, one of the largest sports markets in Europe. The 34-store retailer is said to have sales of around €350m. As part of Frasers, Sport Scheck is expected to benefit from the group's ""elevation strategy"", which has led to strong performance across the business through investment in shop concepts, digital capabilities and strengthened brand relationships, it said. The closing of the transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2024. Signa is thus drawing a line under the Sport chapter." On 15 October, amazon.de celebrates its 25th anniversary. To celebrate, the online retailer now reveals the 25 best-selling products in Germany. No. 1 is Adele 25, a music album; No. 2 to 5 are technical aids such as chargers, cables and FRitzbox, No. 6 is cat litter, No. 9 is the German Civil Code, No. 15 is Fifty Shades of Grey, several other books, No. 24 is Soda Stream glass bottles and No. 25 is batteries. "The award was presented recently at the IGDS World Department Store Summit (WDSS) in Dubai. Every two years the arward is presented by the International Group of Department Stores (IGDS). 45 members from 37 countries are represented with more than 1200 retail stores on five continents and a total turnover of 45 billion Euros. As the winner, the KaDeWe Group with its three luxury department stores KaDeWe in Berlin, Alsterhaus in Hamburg and Oberpollinger in Munich received the award for the “Most Innovative Department Store in the World” for the first time. In the other award category “World’s Best Team at a Department Store,” the Wine & Spirits team at KaDeWe in Berlin was voted one of the top three in the world, taking third place. Thailand’s Central Group holds a 50.1 percent stake in the KaDeWe Group, while Austrian conglomerate Signa holds the remaining 49.9 percent. Expansions are due in the first quarter of 2025 with the Carsch store in Düsseldorf and the Lamarr in Vienna." "“In the second quarter of 2023, Loewe was still in first place among the “hottest brands” that the online company Lyst regularly determines. Now the Spaniards have been dethroned by an Italian label: 1) MIU MIU -> With over 223 million views on TikTok and a campaign starring Emma Corrin, Ethel Cain and Zaya Wade, Miu Miu's fall-winter collection has had a strong impact on sales."""" The logo Cashmere cardigan was the second most searched product in the quarter. Searches for cardigans are up 44%,"" reports Lyst. 2) LOEWE 3) PRADA 4) BOTTEGA VENETA 5) VERSACE"""

International roll-out of Thomas Sabo´s new pop-up stores

The newly rolled-out pop-up concept is based on Charm Club, a community concept founded in April 2023.

The first locations of the completely redesigned pop-up stores were realized in the Alstertal shopping center in Hamburg and in the Pasing Arcaden in Munich. Further implementations will follow in the Shoppi Tivoli shopping center in Zurich as well as in the Spanish El Corte Ingles department stores nationwide. On the Spanish Costa Brava, in Barcelona and on Ibiza the implementations have already taken place.

In order to ensure the most flexible adaptation possible to the different sized spaces starting from 18 sq m, the focus is on a modular design of the furniture used. Presented are the latest products of the Charm designs, but activities for an extended brand experience, such as raffles or different marketing campaigns are also implemented.

Thomas Sabo, the company’s founder said in a statement, “With the new approach for the Charm Club, we are targeting the young audience and the clientele of tomorrow and implementing this with a completely new POS concept as well as various activities for our community.”" "Saboteur recently opened in Manchester on New Cannon Street in the Arndale Centre, offering both the Fine Piercing and Petite Collections.

Further openings in the UK are planned in Leeds and Cambridge, according to Sabo.

The market launch initially only took place online in 2021, followed by stationary stores in Austria and Germany and an address in Paris last year.

For the UK launch, the company announced a poster campaign entitled ""Lend us your ears"", which will run alongside the opening in Manchester" """Clothing retailer Peek & Cloppenburg is expanding its presence in Eastern Europe, opening stores in Craiova, Romania, and Riga, Latvia. In 2022, the majority of the fragrance and beauty brand was acquired by the “House of Love Brands” Puig." "Unleash Your Nature (UYN), part of the Italian sports and cycling goods manufacturer Trerè, is active in Germany with its subsidiary Tre Vertrieb GmbH for the stores and sales. "What do you immediately think of when it finally gets colder outside, you see the morning mist and the pumpkins are piling up in the vegetable department at the supermarket? exactly strong, full-bodied espresso with pumpkin pie sauce in foamed milk, garnished with autumnal pumpkin pie spices - cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves, in other words the PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE from Starbucks! So here are a few interesting facts about the company. Sales: USD 32.2 billion employees worldwide: 402,000 Number of Starbucks stores: 35,711" Sales: USD 32.2 billion Barbie, the well-known toy brand cherished by generations, has ventured into the metaverse in collaboration with Gamefam, a game developer. This partnership with Mattel, Barbie's parent company, aims to bring the beloved Barbie Dream House into the virtual world of Roblox. The result is an exciting new experience called "Barbie DreamHouse Tycoon" that invites users to immerse themselves in the enchanting Barbie universe, personalize their avatars and discover a range of Barbie-related fashion offerings.

louisvuitton’s latest luxe-offering is a home good like none other. Taking inspiration from the iconic Noé BB bag, the French luxury house solidifies the silhouette of the bag in the form of a porcelain vase. The ultra-luxe vase is rendered with the exact dimensions of the classic Noé BB handbag and captures details down to the soft folds of leather and canvas with an allover Monogram pattern. Those interested can find the vase available online for $2,390 USD, making it more expensive than the actual bag itself." Totally un-shirted! The light blue lumberjack shirt that the national coach wore to the international match against the USA divides the nation. Not because the flannel overshirt is ugly, as tastes differ. But because of Julian Nagelsmann. He has already attracted attention with exalted styles in the past. "The exact look on Sandro Wagner or Jogi Löw - and people would have freaked out," wrote Annette Weber smugly in BILD (the umbrella line "Totally enthemd" was too good not to adopt). And because the original Van Laack costs 309.95 euros, the tabloid recommends its readers cheaper alternatives from Esprit, Hollister or C&A. This is probably not what the DFB outfitter had in mind. Especially since Julian Nagelsmann would have found alternatives at Van Laack, as a look at the range for the national team shows. I find it interesting that the first question after the international match was about Hamed. The American coach couldn't believe it. Nor could I, to be honest. Van Laack will be rubbing its hands with glee over this marketing.
